Wrangler JK / JKU 2011-2018: Incorrect tire pressure

If the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) is not working or 2 sensors read 255psi, the PAC module must be updated. The following instructions explain how to perform the update.

Applicable part numbers: SRK-JK11H, SRK-JK11HX, SRX-JK11128

1. Download and install the PAC module update utility tool.
2. Double-click the RadioPRO icon on your PC's home screen to open the app.
3. Download the Firmware.
4. Remove the dash to access the PAC module.
   • If you don't have a laptop to perform the update, remove the PAC module and bring it to your PC.
   • If you have a laptop to perform the update, unplug the 3-pin power connector from the PAC module.
5. Plug the PAC module into your PC or laptop using a Micro-B USB cable designed for data transfer. The PAC module will flash, and the app will display Connected. It will also fill in the Product Name, Software Version, and Hardware Version fields. If not, your USB cable likely doesn't support data transfer.
6. Click the Firmware button, then click Select File. Find the firmware in your Downloads folder and double-click it to start the update. Confirm the update when prompted.
7. When the app prompts Update completed. It is now safe to unplug the PAC module.
8. Reconnect the PAC module to the Jeep, then start the Jeep.
9. Press and hold the program button on the PAC module until the LED blinks red, then release.
10. The radio and PAC module will reboot. After the radio restarts, test for functionality.
