Follow these steps to troubleshoot the issue.
- Does the vehicle have a factory amplifier or subwoofer?
- If yes, the connector/port labeled "amplified" should be used.
- If no, the connector/port labeled "non-amplified' should be used.
- If the wrong speaker connector/port was used, unplug the PAC module, connect the speaker connector to the correct connector/port, then plug the PAC module back in. Start the vehicle and test the radio functionality.
- For Horizon10 & Heigh10+ integrated radio kits and a factory amplifier, if the correct speaker port was used, reset the PAC module.
- Start the vehicle.
- Navigate to Settings / Installer (top right tab) / PAC Advanced Settings / Application Info / RadioPro.
- Select Factory Reset.
- For Horizon10 & Heigh10+ integrated radio kits and a factory amplifier, also inspect the Integrated Audio Settings page on the radio (Figure A).
- Navigate to Settings / Installer (top right tab) / PAC Advanced Settings / Integrated Audio Settings.
- Increase Factory Amp Gain to level 5.
