The DIP switches used in PAC interface modules are product-dependent. Refer to the instructions for the certain product you are installing. These switches tell the module how it should behave or which radio or vehicle it is to be installed in. The following are guidelines when selecting the switches.
- Follow the instructions included with the product you are using. If you are installing a steering wheel control interface, follow the online guide.
- The DIP switches must be set before power is applied to the interface module. If power was accidentally applied first, simply unplug the module for a couple of seconds.
- If the instructions don't mention configuring the DIP switches, this means the interface module is pre-programmed, and no further action is required.
