In Bose-equipped vehicles, all audio components are connected in a loop. If an audio component is missing, you will not have sound. For this reason, the kit provides jumpers to remove unnecessary audio components. The unnecessary components are the external CD drive and DVD drive. Two jumpers are provided depending on which external drive you have (you will use just 1 of the 2 jumpers provided).
