- When installing this kit in a Jeep Gladiator JT / Wrangler JL, if CarPlay (CP) or Android Auto (AA) aren't working, first ensure you're using the USB cable routed to the armrest center console—not the dash USB port, which is charge-only.
- If you're using the armrest USB and CP or AA still don't work, verify the cable is plugged into the USB1 port on the radio. It's common to have USBs reversed, so double-check and flip them if needed.
- If everything is correct and CP/AA still fail, try plugging a phone cable directly into the radio's USB1 port. If it works, the factory USB receptacle (very common) or USB-UN2 extension is likely faulty and will need to be replaced.
Note: Only use a quality phone cable, no longer than 3' for best results.
