On the the RP4.2-TY11 and the TY1A-RS, you will see two sets of "Navigation Output Wire Bundles".
Navigation output wire colors will be Light Green, Purple/White, and Pink.
To identify each bundle. One set of wires will come out of Interface Connector (4) of the interface.
The other bundle will be going "around" the module taped with the Red, Yellow and Black Wires. These will be called the "analog wires" for these instructions.
It is important to say, you will only use either or, not both. DO NOT connect both bundles together, as connecting both together can cause vehicle trouble codes to be displayed.
See below for identifying, and when to use the specified bundle.
For use of the Analog wires, Vehicle connector (2) must be used. With the use of the analog wires, you will insulate the navigation output wires coming out of Interface connector (4).
For using the wires coming out of interface connector (4) you will need to run the OBD-II data connector for (Pre 2013) model year vehicles.
On vehicles that are 2014+ model years you can use either the analog wires, or the ones that come out interface connector (4). We suggest using the analog wires with these vehicles.
